Voters living in Killingbeck and Seacroft Ward will on Thursday have their say on who represents them on Leeds City Council.
The Leeds City Council local elections are being held on Thursday, 2 May 2024 and members of the public will be invited to vote for one candidate in the ward where they live.
Voters are reminded that those wishing to vote in these elections in person at a polling station on election day will need to show a valid form of voter ID. Guidance on what forms of identification will be accepted and how to apply for a new free Voter ID can be seen at Voter photo ID (leeds.gov.uk).
Candidates standing in Killingbeck and Seacroft are:
John Arnison – Green Party
Catherine Dobson – SDP
Jayne Dresser – Reform
Rosemary Gaskell – Conservative Party
David Jenkins – Labour
John Otley – Liberal Democrats
People can also vote for candidates standing to become Mayor of West Yorkshire. These can be seen at West Yorkshire Combined Authority Mayoral election (leeds.gov.uk). Elections for these roles also take place on Thursday, 2 May.
Polling stations will be open from 7am-10pm.
