A youth-led project in Harehills is set to challenge stereotypes and misconceptions with a series of creative projects and campaigns later this month.

Breaking Down Barriers is a project launched by Leeds Muslim Youth Forum designed to bring diverse communities together to overcome bigotry and prejudice.

They will be celebrating the achievements of young people in the area at a presentation evening held at the Thackray Museum of Medicine in Harehills.

Doors will open at 5.30pm in order to begin the event at 6pm.

Food and refreshments will be served at the event.
