Alla, a recent immigrant from Ukraine, has secured a prestigious position as an Investment Manager at a local asset management firm in Leeds with the help of Smart Works Leeds. Upon her arrival in 2022, Alla was referred to the service by her local job centre. She received personalized career coaching, guidance on navigating the UK job market, and connections to key financial institutions in the area. Smart Works also provided her with interview clothing and a capsule collection of workwear to help her transition into her new role.
Thanks to the support of Smart Works, Alla is now thriving in her new job.
“I am happy with my job and very grateful to Smart Works for supporting me. It was difficult for me to find a job in a new country, and the support I received was invaluable.”
