Ideas for improving Harehills Park Muga will be discussed at the next Chatty Cafe event.
Libby, from Active Leeds, will be at the event to hear your views.
She said: “The MUGA (multi use games area) at Harehills Park is one of six sites being considered for investment in Leeds by the Football Foundation.
“It is important we get community voices and groups feeding into whether they’d like to see a Playzone in your area and how you’d like to use one, if it happened.”
Libby will bring a survey and you are invited to share your ideas with her.
The cafe will also be marking Mental Health Awareness Week 2024, which takes place from 13 to 19 May, on the theme of “Movement: Moving more for our mental health”.
Tasneem will bring some resources with her to mark the week, and the colour for the day is green – so feel free to wear something green if you like!
Tasneem said: “Movement is important for our mental health. But so many of us struggle to move enough.
“We know there are many different reasons for this, so this Mental Health Awareness Week we want to help people to find moments for movement in their daily routines.
“Going for a walk in your neighbourhood, putting on your favourite music and dancing around the living room, chair exercises when you’re watching television – it all counts!”
The Chatty Cafe will be held at The Compton Centre on Monday, 13 May 10.30am-12.30pm. It’s run by Harehills Action Team.
