Susan Coan at Leeds Beckett University School of Health has put together some excellent learning courses taking place between 8th March and 29th March. These are a taste of university to raise aspirations and promote inclusion, with no pressure to apply afterwards.
These cover a range of issues from obesity (in the clinical sense), childhood development, and public health – all very important subjects in this ever-developing modern world. There’s also a session looking at the practicalities of the university experience.
These are all free, including a certificate, refreshments, and if needed a one-day bus ticket for each of the courses. If you’re interested, reach out to community@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
