We previously covered 100% Digital Leeds foundation courses for a variety of digital platforms taking place across Leeds as part of 2023. We wanted to tell you a bit more about them, and also about the fantastic facility they are offering on their website.
As the 21st century rapidly progresses, the necessity for digital skills increases year on year, even month by month at times. New technologies are constantly emerging to allow us to do more and more things or make things we used to do even easier.
Meanwhile, old technologies evolve. It’s a constant challenge to keep up, and whether you’re just trying to keep up with the ever-increasing need to access national and local services digitally, want new ways to amaze and entertain, to reach out and touch family wherever they are or communicate with friends old and new.
The opportunity to learn and grow digital skills has never been more vital. Closing the digital skill gap can bring us closer, better informed and, for many, increase their employability.
100% digital Leeds offers amazing courses and information on where to go to learn and do more. Their website, 100% Digital Leeds, includes a signposting section to guide you to the best information to develop your skills and access facilities via their Leeds Community Digital Support Directory.
You can see there’s quite a bit in East Leeds, which means plenty of opportunity from Lincoln Green out to Garforth to reach out and access equipment, and learning opportunities and have some fun.

The map might feel awkward to use you can zoom in, drag it about until you find an area near you, then click an icon to see where that facility is. If you do struggle with the map, below it there is a link to a Google Sheet which contains all the information from the map in an easily searchable format.
