Taste the World, Hear the Beats: Cultural Fest Comes to Harehills

The Lord Mayor of Leeds will be paying a special visit to Harehills for an evening of global unity, music, and flavor at the International Day of Cultural Celebration. 

Taking place on Friday, 15th November 2024, this free event will showcase the rich cultural diversity of Leeds through performances and cuisine, bringing together communities from around the world.

Event Details: The celebration will be held at Bridge Community Church, Leeds LS9 7BQ, from 6 pm to 10 pm. Attendees can indulge in a variety of delicious foods from 6pm, with cultural performances kicking off promptly at 6:30 pm. The event will feature acts representing diverse regions, including Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, the UK, Ireland, and beyond.

A Collaborative Effort: This cultural celebration is a collaboration between AfriKindness, the David Oluwale Memorial Association, Leeds African Communities Trust, and Hamara, with funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Leeds City Council.
