Residents had a brilliant time at Leeds Community Foundation’s community engagement event, visiting three fantastic community organisations in Leeds.

Supporters and partners were joined by the Lord Mayor of Leeds Councillor Abigail Marshall-Katung.

Organisers thanked Kirkstall Valley FarmShantona Womens Centre and Burmantofts Community Friends for hosting them and to First West Yorkshire for providing transport to get people around.

A Leeds Community Foundation spokesperson said: “Visiting community organisations like these really reminds us exactly why we do what we do, and perfectly showcases the impact and value of having passionate organisations rooted in our communities, delivering vital work every day.”

Councillor Marshall-Katung said: “If you want to go fast you go on your own, if you want to go far, you do it together.”
