Housing Leeds has applied to change the use of 30 Grange View, which was previously used as a family home.
The property was later converted and extended into a social club. It is now vacant.
A design report submitted with the application said the building could accommodate between five and seven residents.
The proposed accommodation would operate as managed social housing.
The report said the property would remain a residential dwelling and would not materially change the character of the area.
Shared kitchen and bathroom facilities would be provided within the property.
Any internal changes would be limited, according to the report. They would be designed to provide a safe and functional living environment.
The report also said the property would be managed to ensure the accommodation was accessible and suitable for a range of occupants. The change-of-use planning application was put forward for public consultation, which ended on September 10.
