Residents in East Leeds can have their say about what they think about their local parks and how we can make them better for everyone.
Leeds City Council wants to agree a vision for each park to help the authority achieve its goal of providing the best parks in the UK.
There are 65 community parks in Leeds which are managed by Leeds City Council.
A spokesperson said: “We are currently working to develop a vision plan for each of these parks based on the views and opinions of local people, to ensure they are the best they can be.
“The plans are vision documents, so we cannot guarantee their delivery in full, as many of the elements in them will be funding dependent and some of them will be quite ambitious.
“However, having an agreed plan in place means we are more likely to be able to identify, access and allocate the resources required to improve the park than we are currently, without a plan.
“This is your chance to tell us what you think about your local parks. We would like to hear your thoughts on any of the parks listed below that you use or live nearby, we will consult on the other parks in future years.”
- Banstead Park in Harehills
- Nowell Mount Park in Burmantofts
- Rein Park in Seacroft
- Seacroft Gardens
- Whinmoor Park on Coal Road LS14

You can comment on as many parks as you like, though you will need to complete a new survey for each park. The survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. The consultation will close at midnight on Monday 26th August 2024.
