Community hubs and libraries throughout the city are offering free SIM cards featuring up to twelve months of unlimited calls, texts, and data to ensure local residents can get online and stay connected with loved ones.
Free SIMs can be found at a wide network of locations, including Burmantofts Community Hub and Library, Central Library, Compton Centre, Middleton Library, Reginald Centre, and Seacroft Library, among others. Anyone interested in getting a SIM can contact their relevant library for further details.
The support does not stop at connectivity. Every week, libraries across the city host free Digital Drop-Ins to help people gain confidence with technology. Whether visitors bring their own smartphone, tablet, or computer, or prefer to use a library PC, friendly librarians are on hand to help them try something new and get started.
