The full entertainment line-up has been revealed for the second annual Temple Newsam Food Festival, taking place on 15 and 16 August 2026 at the Temple Newsam Estate.

Alongside live music, organisers have confirmed a series of new attractions, contests and family activities designed to expand the festival experience.

Two headline tribute acts will close each evening. On Saturday, The Soul Shebang, an eight-piece tribute to soul legends, will take to the stage alongside a number of other acts. On Sunday, The Bootleg Bee Gees will headline with a set celebrating the biggest hits of the Bee Gees.

Across the weekend, performances will include a mix of solo artists, bands, choirs and community acts, ranging from saxophone sets and folk music to rock covers, jazz and pop performances.

New for 2026 is a dedicated entertainment area featuring a range of challenges and competitions. One of the most unusual additions is an inflatable banana jousting ring, where festivalgoers can take part in light-hearted duels using inflatable props.

A new Sizzling Showdown Arena will also host free activities for ticket holders, including a Foodie Olympics with expanded games, a chilli-eating challenge for over-18s, and a family dog show.

Festival organisers say the expanded programme is aimed at creating a more varied and interactive experience for visitors.

The full entertainment programme can now be found on the event’s website: www.templenewsamfoodfestival.com/activities
