Janine GriffithsThe North Leeds Charity Beer and Music Festival will return to Roundhay on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 April 2026, bringing two days of real ale, local food and live entertainment all to raise money for good causes across the city.
Now in its fourteenth year, the event is organised by the Rotary Club of Roundhay and has already raised more than £102,500 for local charities, youth projects and health initiatives. Organisers say every drink sold helps fund practical work that benefits communities in Leeds and internationally.
Held at North Leeds Cricket Club, this year’s festival will showcase over 36 traditional cask ales from Yorkshire breweries, alongside a gin and prosecco bar, gluten free options and zero alcohol choices. Breweries on the line up include Kirkstall, Ossett, Roosters and Chin Chin, offering what organisers describe as a broad mix of flavours “from light and refreshing to rich and full-bodied”.
Music runs across both days, with Friday featuring jazz, blues and a mix of soul, funk, pop and rock. Saturday’s programme ranges from a pop and rock choir to a Roundhay School alumni band reunion, young emerging musicians and a rockabilly finale.
Food remains a strong part of the festival identity, with Setchfield Butchers’ Pork Pie and Peas and Mrs Singh’s samosas returning as staples for regular visitors.
A family friendly session will run on Saturday from 12:00 to 5:30pm. It includes face painting, children’s games, informal sports and live daytime performances. Children can attend free with a paying adult, and the outdoor space offers a low cost day out for families from across Leeds, including those in East Leeds who often travel to Roundhay Park for days out. Well behaved dogs are welcome throughout.
Tickets cost £12 for a Festival Pack, which includes a commemorative glass, programme and two drink tokens. Non drinkers pay £5, extra tokens are £2.50 and on the door entry is £15 if available. A Challenge 25 policy will be in place.

With a mix of food, music and real ale, organisers say the event continues to grow its role as a community fundraiser, drawing visitors from across Leeds while supporting projects that benefit neighbourhoods citywide.
