Local residents can access affordable food at the Kippax Community Pantry, held every Saturday at St. Mary’s Lower Church Hall.

  • Members pay £5 and shop between 9:30–10:30am.

  • Non-members can take surplus food for free between 10:30–11:00am.

Proof of a local address is required but no referral is needed. Fridge and freezer items are available at reduced prices, and drinks are provided for children while parents use the pantry.

Donations of tins and other non-perishable food are welcomed at Kippax Best-One, Kippax Co-op, and the Kippax Community Hub and Library.

  1. Hi. I have various health issues and am recieving palliative care and help from St Gemmas.
    I am struggling financially.
Is it ok to come on Saturday at 10.30 to receive some, if any food that is available.
If I don’t feel well enough to attend I can let you know.

  2. This is Terry again! My telephone number is 07703433344 and I’m staying at Church Approach in Garforth.
